As a Caregiver it's amazing to be able to name when I can work, as I care for my mother too. We also can pick the type of care we can provide--I can't lift anyone, but it's so much more than that. I also discovered I really love working with Dementia patients. The company prioritizes both our safety and needs, as well as that of the client. I'm really glad I applied, and it's been a good experience. I've also met some really incredible people. Last night a client insisted on walking me out, hugged me as I left her home, and thanked me for being so kind to her. It really is the best feeling when you know you helped or made someone's life a little better.
